Crime of the Week 10-9-23
The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
On October 4th, 2023 at approximately 5:00 A.M. Decatur Police were dispatched to McDonalds located at 962 W Eldorado in reference to an aggravated robbery. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to two employees who advised they were outside the business when they were approached by a w/f suspect who implied she had a firearm. This suspect pushed something hard into the lower back of one of the employees and attempted to force them inside the building. The employees realized the suspect wasn’t armed and she took off running N/B towards Cerro Gordo street.
The W/F suspect was observed to be wearing a “black panther” mask and had a gray colored backpack. The suspect was wearing blue hooded sweatshirt with a red t-shirt underneath, dark colored pants, and black flip flops.

News Release 9/10/14
The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
On September 8th at approximately 11:45 am, an armed robbery occurred at Domino’s Pizza located at 1948 E. Eldorado. A Domino’s Pizza employee reported… a black male, 500-505, thin build, wearing all dark clothing, a dark colored ball cap and a white colored bandanna covering his hand and face, jumped the counter and pointed his bandanna covered hand at the employee implying he had a weapon. The employee reported handing over an amount of U.S. Currency, at which time the suspect fled the business. A witness observed the suspect prior to entering Domino’s Pizza. The witness reported the suspect as having short hair, clean shaven, 505, thin build and approximately 25-30 years of age.

The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
Sometime between 7:00pm on July 31st and 7:30am on August 1st , unknown subject(s) burglarized Contractors Recycle located at 2990 N. Woodford St. Suspect(s) used a prying tool to pry open a metal wall on the east side of the tool shop to gain entry. Once inside, suspect(s) stole numerous miscellaneous power and hand tools. There are no suspect(s) at this time.

The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
Sometime between 8:00pm on June 25th and 6:15pm on June 26th, unknown subject(s) burglarized Bethel Tabernacle Church located at 1110 E. Curtis Ave. Suspect(s) used a prying tool to pry open the northeast door to gain entry. Once inside, suspect(s) stole a Peavy, amplified speaker and a small amount of US Currency. There are no suspect(s) at this time.
