The Decatur Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in solving this week’s Crime of the Week.
Detectives are currently investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred at approximately 2:54 p.m. at 1760 S. Fairview Ave. Officers responded to the area after receiving a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers determined there was no victim or property damage. Approximately six spent shell casings were located in the apartment parking lot.
Surveillance video was obtained showing a white sedan entering and leaving the area within a short period of time around the time of the incident. Detectives are continuing to investigate, and no suspect information is currently available.
