The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
The evening of June 30th, officers responded to a reported Vehicular Invasion in the area of the 800 block of S 19th St. The incident occurred when the victim stopped to ask two juveniles pushing a lawnmower to mow her lawn. While speaking with the male juveniles one of them reached into the vehicle and took the victim’s purse from the front passenger seat and fled the area on foot northbound.
Suspect Descriptions:
- Suspect #1: w/m, 14-16 years of age approx. 5’6” tall, thin build, dark hair wearing a gray t-shirt
- Suspect #2: b/m, 14-16 years of age, 5’6” tall thin build, black short hair, wearing a white t-shirt.
There are no surveillance photos of the alleged suspects.
